Because of this dedication to quality and craftsmanship, shipping times can vary between 2 weeks to 6 months, depending on our manufacturing process and the complexity of your order.

Standard Delivery: Orders are processed within 3-5 business days, with delivery typically within 7-14 business days depending on your location.

Express Delivery: Available for select locations at an additional cost, with estimated delivery within 3-7 business days.

International Delivery: We ship internationally; delivery timeframes and costs vary by location. Duties and taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Custom & Pre-Order Items: Custom-made and pre-order items have varying lead times. Please check the product listing for estimated delivery dates.

Our team will coordinate delivery to ensure a seamless experience.

All large furniture items will be delivered to the ground floor or front entrance. Additional handling or installation may require special arrangements.

All delivery charges cover a single-trip delivery service. If you wish to split your order for separate deliveries, additional shipping charges will apply.
Preparing for Delivery

Please ensure that your access points have been measured to accommodate the item(s). John Leighton is not responsible for goods that cannot be delivered due to restricted access.

If delivery cannot be fulfilled due to access restrictions, shipping charges will still apply, and a restocking fee may be incurred.

We currently ship within Australia and internationally.

We cannot deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Pickup Locations; a residential or commercial address is required.

Delivery to remote or rural locations may require additional time and fees.

Missed & Rescheduled Deliveries

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation message with estimated delivery details.

If the delivery provider does not receive confirmation from you, they may attempt to contact you. Delivery will not proceed until confirmation is received.

If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, a redelivery charge will apply.

After a delivery has been scheduled and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. If cancellation is requested after scheduling, a redelivery fee equal to 100% of the original shipping fee will be applied.
White Glove Delivery

Large furniture items may be delivered via White Glove Service, which includes:

Assembly and setup in your chosen space

Removal of packaging

This service does not include moving or removing existing furniture.

If your building has specific delivery insurance requirements that our provider cannot meet, the item will be placed at your doorstep or entryway.
Palletised & Small Parcel Delivery

Some items will be delivered via palletized or small parcel service, meaning they will be left at your entryway or threshold.

Please inspect your item upon arrival. Any damage reported after unpacking may not qualify for replacement.
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and a detailed description. We will arrange for a resolution as quickly as possible.
